I am pleased to welcome a guest writer to the email today. She is one of my hero’s and is one of the most sincere people I know. The great thing is that she is also my wife. This is something she shared with her Facebook followers Friday and I thought it would be encouraging to you.
Blessings,

God is Waiting With You
By Megan J. Sanders
It’s hard to believe that we are about to have a one-year-old on our hands! It seems like just yesterday we brought this precious gift home with us. We were clueless about how to take care of her…I actually still feel that way at times now! I suppose it helps keep me humble.
For years we had prayed that God would bless us with a child and for years our hope was deferred. Waiting wasn’t always easy…it was actually heartbreaking at times.
This morning while I was getting ready I was listening to “Trust in You” by Lauren Daigle. The words in the chorus are:
”When You don’t move the mountains I’m needing You to move
. When You don’t part the waters I wish I could walk through.
When You don’t give the answers as I cry out to You.
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in You.”
I began to remember God’s provision while we were waiting for Him to fulfill His promise. It was difficult to see His hand through the cloud of disappointment, but He was always there.
So this morning as the song was playing and I was thinking about how grateful I was for our sweet Stella, God dropped this in my heart. He told me that it took just as much love on His part to wait for the perfect timing as it did to fulfill His promise to us.
So today if you are waiting on something to happen, remember that He loves you enough to wait for that precise moment to pour out His blessing. He’s not withholding to punish you or to prove a point. He is waiting WITH you for His timing and His perfection.
Today’s Challenge: Realize that God is waiting with you. Psalm 84:11 says “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord bestows grace and favor and honor; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” God is not playing keep-away with His blessing or His plan for your life. He is waiting with you and leading you to the place of ultimate fulfillment. Keep following Him, seeking Him, and expecting Him to show up in your life. |
