God’s Unique Role For Your Life – Part 2
By Greg Sanders

You are uniquely designed to demonstrate the glory of God like no one else. We live in a throw- away society. Almost everything is replaceable and sometimes it is cheaper to replace something rather than repair. However, God designed you with such love and uniqueness that you are irreplaceable to Him and irreplaceable to His purpose here on earth.

Psalm 139:14 states, “I will give thanks unto thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: wonderful are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”

The role you fill is not what makes you irreplaceable or invaluable; it is the unique way you steward God’s gift in your life that makes the lasting impact. Think about this: We have had 44 presidents, but they are not remembered equally. They all served at the highest place of leadership but it was the gifting that they brought to that office that set them apart. Other people may someday fill the position you now hold, but it is your courage to be who God has called you to be that will make you unforgettable and effective in the eyes of eternity.

You do not need a different role, a better location, or a higher level of influence to make your unique mark on this world. You need to simply realize that you are strategically positioned to make a unique difference right where God has you. I have discovered that as long as you steward your current opportunities, God will always give you greater opportunities.

Remember that others are just as irreplaceable as you. You cannot discount someone else’s importance. You are not the one who designed them and placed them on this planet, therefore you do not know the redemptive plan God may have for their life. What if part of the unique role God has for your life is you helping others discover their value to God? Remember, your unique role is never about you alone, it is always tied to a greater plan and a higher power.

Today’s Challenge: Realize that today is an opportunity for you to function in your unique role and make a lasting impact on those around you. Pray that God will empower you and make His presence visible in your life. You are uniquely designed to demonstrate the glory of God like no one else.
