Godly Activity Activates Satanic Attacks
By Greg Sanders

Acts 16:18 This went on day after day until Paul got so exasperated that he turned and said to the demon within her, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And instantly it left her.
19 Her masters’ hopes of wealth were now shattered, so they grabbed Paul and Silas and dragged them before the authorities at the marketplace.

Paul experienced a relatively peaceful ministry in Macedonia until He rocked the boat by setting a girl free. This one act of ministry invited persecution and hardship into Paul’s life. Much trouble could have been avoided if He had simply kept the gospel to himself. However, Paul was not called to keep the freeing power of the gospel to himself; neither are we. Even if unleashing the power of the gospel means unleashing the enemies’ attack on our lives, we must realize that the value of freedom is worth the battles it may bring.

The enemy would love to intimidate you into an introverted existence when it comes to your faith. As a believer, you must remember that there lies within you a greater power than that which would come against you. It is in the battles that you discover God’s provision and power in a growing fashion.

Today’s Challenge: Boldly obey God no matter the challenge it may bring. You can have confidence that any battle God’s activity invites to your life can be handled by the limitless power of Christ available to you. Don’t be intimidated but advance the Kingdom in confidence.
