What They Don’t Teach You in School
By Greg Sanders

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.

Have you ever heard the expression, “They don’t teach that in school”? That phrase is often said in response to lessons learned the hard way in life. I often find myself reaching for answers that are not found in textbooks or even in wise counselors. There are times when I need revelation straight from God about specific circumstances and issues. The truth is that no matter how much education and preparation you pursue, there will always be realities that are beyond the scope of your own knowledge. It has been said that the more you learn the more you realize how much you really don’t know.

You must realize that you have a source with more instruction, information, and inspiration than can be found in any book, any learning, or any Google search. The Word says that the way to get your hands on the information most needed in any situation is to call on God. Revelation is not the collection of more knowledge. Revelation is a revealing of insights that only the Father can give. The revelation that we all often seek in various places can be easily accessed through our calling on the Father. God is not playing keep-away with your answer. He is waiting for you to call on Him.

Today’s Challenge: When it seems like you need help and information beyond human help, call on the only One who can give such answers. Call on God and He will show you things that you have not heard and things you will not hear anywhere else.
