Be Fully Persuaded
By Greg Sanders

Romans 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

If the promises of God do not seem outlandish, out of reach, or over your head then I am certain you are not comprehending all that God has for you. Abraham was a man with an impossible promise from God. Abraham’s promise was that he would have a son even though he was nearly 100 years old. This seems crazy and goes against everything doctors teach us and experience has proven. However, the Bible says that Abraham was fully persuaded that God would do what He had promised.

The plans and the promises that God has for you is just as extraordinary and as equally impossible. One scholar estimates that there are over 5400 promises in the Word of God. The life-changing substance is not in the number of promises available, but in the fact that they are available to you! The secret to you receiving what God has said over you lies in your ability to continue to believe and stay aligned with God’s word until He performs it.

Today’s Challenge: Don’t just perceive the promises of God as something that is for some people. Be fully persuaded that God’s promises apply to you!
